INTRALIPOTHERAPY

INTRALIPOTHERAPY

The treatment of localized fat naturally is an exceptionally slow and difficult process, even when adopting a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Today, modern medicine offers the solution to this problem with intralipotherapy, a non surgical therapy for the reduction of local fat. The technique is known as injectable lipolisis (fat dissolving injection treatment) and is suitable for men and women aged 18-60, depending on the extent and degree of the problem and the evaluation of the specialized dermatologist.

It should be noted that, like all non surgical methods, intralipotherapy does not produce the same results as the surgical method of liposuction. However, it is the best alternative, especially for patients seeking to avoid invasive methods to treat cosmetic problems.

The treatment involves the injection of deoxycolanic acid, which is a synthetic solution of the acid produce by our body to dissolve fat. The solution is injected into the treatment area subcutaneously with thin, flexible needles. The procedure is considered to be painless, as adipose tissue produces no pain, however a local anaesthetic is added to the solution to minimize any discomfort.

The most commonly treated areas are:

  • Buttocks, hips, saddlebags, knees, thighs
  • Double chin, dewlap
  • Arms, underarms
  • Waist
  • Chest
  • Wherever accumulation of localized fat requires aesthetic intervention

Common after-effects include slight swelling, itching, redness; bruising may be present after the procedure which is considered normal in treatments with the use of needles. All side effects subside within one week. During recovery, it is recommended that the patient avoid strenuous physical exercise, topical application of solutions and high temperature (saunas, hot showers, solariums etc.)

For the optimum results, treatment requires 4-6 sessions (every 21 days).

Book a consultation NOW to try INTRALIPOTHERAPY and prepare for a summer without local fat, increased self-confidence and a heavenly mood.
