BOTULINUM TOXIN

Botulinum toxin type A is nowadays the first most popular and common non-invasive method to remove facial wrinkles in the upper part of the face.
Once injected, the toxin temporarily blocks the movement of certain muscles causing the disappearance of frown lines (glabella wrinkles) that in the long term develop into deep, permanent lines. The toxin functions as a stop-the-clock method and does not five an unnatural expression on the face, as it may be mistakenly believed. As a result, when the procedure is regularly carried out, it leads to significant delay of permanent and deep lines and wrinkles, due to the muscular relaxation in the specific areas of the face it is applied.
After the injection, as long as it is administered by an experienced, licensed doctor, the patient’s face looks youthful, relaxed, fresh and supple with a healthy glow.
The most common areas for the use of botox are the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes- especially on wrinkles on the outer corner of the eyes commonly referred to as crow’s feet.
Additionally, it can be applied on upper-lip wrinkling, mental chin creases, nasoglabellar lines, nasal scrunch and neck wrinkles.
The results of botox treatment are generally observed within one week, last 4 to 6 months and vary depending on age, the severity of wrinkles and the patient’s organism.
In our clinic, we use exclusively branded products, fully certified by both CE (Europe) and FDA (America).
ATTENTION: Special attention required:
- Mainly to the drug itself
- To the professional who performs the treatment
Beware of counterfeit injectable products at low cost which are NOT CERTIFIED and can result in severe side-effects, probably irreversible.
Additionally, not all medical specialties are entitled to perform such treatments.
Special warning against practitioners outside the medical sector who perform injectable treatments without medical training, knowledge of facial anatomy and pharmacology, proper hygiene and safety conditions. Botox injections are a medical procedure that requires specific training and solid medical background to be administered safely and effectively.
