BABY ACNE
Baby acne occurs approximately between the 3rd and the 4th month of the baby’s life. It is also a precursor of acne during adolescence and may be due to hereditary predisposition of acne by the parents.
The clinical examination reveals pustules, papules, nodules and comedones as in all other forms of acne. There is also overstimulation of the endocrine glands and the adrenals.
In severe cases, the physician can suggest a topical treatment as in the case of adult acne.
